ABOUT ME

Dr Lauren Rockliffe is a Health Psychologist with extensive experience in both research and practice.

With almost a decade of experience in academia, Lauren has worked across several key areas of women’s health including breast cancer treatment, HPV vaccination, and pregnancy health behaviour change.

In 2022, Lauren was awarded a PhD in Health Psychology from the University of Manchester and achieved Chartered status as a Health Psychologist. She has since founded Bloomwell Pregnancy, a specialist health coaching service, supporting women to make healthy lifestyle changes in and around pregnancy.

In addition to this, Lauren provides private psychological therapy for clients in a range of health and lifestyle areas. She also works with a private weight management service, providing one-to-one support for individuals living with obesity.

Trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, Lauren is passionate about empowering people to improve their sense of health and wellbeing, to enable them to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. She is equally committed to improving health outcomes indirectly, by providing her skills and expertise in a consultancy capacity, and mentoring trainee Health Psychologists. Lauren holds a fellowship teaching qualification and is a registered psychology practice supervisor (RAPPS).
